On Jan 19th, 2024, the Office of the Talent Work Leading Group of the Hubei Provincial Committee and the Provincial Department of Education issued No. 1 Document of the Hubei Teacher Letter (2024), announcing the list of candidates for the Hubei Industry Professor in 2023. Huang Jianhua, the chairman of Hubei HumanwellCaps (Hubei Humanwell Pharmaceutical Excipients Co., Ltd.), was successfully selected and employed by Hubei University of Science and Technology.

The selection and appointment of Hubei Industry Professor is an important step for our province to implement the strategy of strengthening the province with talents, to deepen the integration of industry and education, and to promote the collaborative innovation of industry, university and research. It aims to introduce high-end talents into universities, promote enterprises and universities to build research platforms, carry out cooperation on science and technology projects, and provide support for our province to cultivate high-level innovative talents and promote the transformation of high-level scientific and technological achievements.

HumanwellCaps and Hubei University of Science and Technology have established a scientific research platform such as Hubei Province Practice Base for Joint Training of Outstanding Engineers and Hubei University of Science and Technology’s Pharmaceutical Excipients Innovation Talent Training Base for Integration of Industry and University. Both sides have extensive and in-depth cooperation on scientific research, talent training, project development and achievement transformation.

In the next step, both sides will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation on mutual employment for personnel and scientific and technological research, and will play a greater role in promoting collaborative innovation between Industry-university-Research, and promoting joint training of talents between enterprises and schools.
